There are many benefits of indulging in any extracurricular activities may it be sports, dance, drama, cooking etc., but many parents even after knowing the perks rarely allow their children to take part in such activities. Academics alone cannot build a sound mind and great personality, extracurricular activities provide that extra spark that can enlighten your kid’s body and heart.   • Stress Buster- Kids more often than not face a lot of stress in today’s competitive academic front and seeking fun in any extracurricular activities can relieve their mind and can help them think better and clear about upcoming challenges. The studies have confirmed that children who have a hobby close to their heart can fight depression and stress better than the ones who aren’t part of any extracurricular activity.
  • Time management- By taking part in any sports, music etc. children know they have to balance their activities with their time table and they plan their day well ahead in time so that they don’t lose on studies and their fun as well. This skill later would definitely help your child to master time management skills.

They learn to face all sorts of pressure and come out victorious from the other end.
